4/17 Massive Beach Clean Up 🌊 🧹

We are joining Sea Shepherd’s April massive Muuido clean up!
This time we will team up with 4 other organizations, so Sea Shepherd is expecting around a 100 ppl expecting to come, we are up for some real cleaning!
Participating organizations: DIPHDA Jeju, PESCE, Wiperth, Volunteer Korea, Sea Shepherd Korea

Last time we went to Muuido we found a Fridge on the beach. 🤯 And we noticed that the further we go the more hidden trash there is. Sea Shepherd monthly go to out of reach spaces and with them, this time we will go to some less accessible location, 2km from the parking lot, so expect a 30~40 min walk through hills and rocky terrains. 🥾 We need to go before the sea come back so we will gather early and put on some hard work 💪.

There is a 45 ppl bus rented on Sea Shepherd side, but spaces are limited. 🚌  If you want to take the bus, you will need to register with us and on the bus form separately.
For the remaining participants all the other organizations are organizing carpool. 🚗

So, if you have a car and can do carpool, or if you have a driver license and can rent a car and share the cost with others that would be great! It’s more than a 2 hours ride to go there by public transportations and there aren’t many buses.

Date & Time : April 17th 2022, 8 AM ~ 2 PM (try to be on time)

What to bring:
👕 Wear anything that can get dirty
🧤 Reusable gloves to pick up trash
💧 Water Tumbler, let’s try to not create more trash! 😄👍
*Due to a lack of water in the area, the public space around Muuido don’t have water, so bring some extra if you want to clean your hands.
🍌 Snacks or food for yourself
🥾 Solid and safe shoes
🎒 Anything else you may need
